Organic Death Valley French Roast Dark Roast
This French roast coffee is far less acidic and roasted in flavor. It also has a subtle smoky flavor with smooth dark chocolate and a hint of citrus. French roast beans are traditionally used for drip-brewed coffee. They also make a nice, bold espresso and do well when brewed in a 'French-Press'.
Some know this blend as Death Valley French Roast. Why Death Valley? It is North America's driest and hottest spot and has the lowest elevation on the continent. Mark Berry, the founder, and his family lived there during the winter season.
This blend is also sold at Death Valley National Park Gift shop under the original name Death Valley French Roast.
Just expect a good, full-body of flavor with each brew. This is heavyweight stuff. It has that earthy, roasted, smoky flavor.
