The Story Behind the Coffee

Our Story

Blind Dog Coffee Roasters was founded in Reno, Nevada, in 2007 by Mark Berry. After overcoming childhood cancer and later becoming legally blind, Mark refused to let limitations define what he could accomplish. With the support of his family, he mastered the craft of coffee roasting and built Blind Dog Coffee into a symbol of resilience and determination.

Mark and his family worked tirelessly to grow the business, bringing care and purpose to every batch of coffee. The aroma of freshly roasted beans became more than part of the work—it represented perseverance, family and the belief that challenges can lead to something extraordinary.

As Mark entered retirement, he passed Blind Dog Coffee to his family, preserving a legacy that extends far beyond coffee. Today, the Blind Dog story continues through every roast, every customer and every connection created over a great cup of coffee.

What is the difference between Private Label and White Label?

Our Private Label program is a collaborative branding model, where your brand is featured alongside Blind Dog Coffee. We design a custom label using your logo, brand colors, and slogan, combined with our coffee’s tasting notes and roast highlights.
At this time, we do not offer White Label (fully unbranded) products.

What branding assets do I need to provide?

We require your logo, brand colors, and any slogan or tagline you’d like included. Once received, our marketing team handles the label design as part of the standard setup.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order is 100 units per item, along with a signed usage commitment. This allows us to maintain quality, consistency, and pricing across all Private Label partners.

What are the total costs involved?

Private Label pricing includes:

$60 setup fee per item (one-time)
$1,000 project fee (one-time)
Coffee cost per bag depends on the roast selected

Shipping costs, based on your location
Additional custom design requests beyond standard printing options may incur extra fees.

How long does the Private Label process take?
